About our food

We use all local produce as far as possible. We have excellent local lamb and rare breed pigs which ensure that the sausages and home cured bacon and a very special flavour. We have Tweed salmon and game which is all found within a short distance of Hethpool at the appropriate time of year.

Our vegetable garden is very productive in the summer and into the winter and have a good supply of home-grown fruit, all of which can be produced organically. Our next-door neighbour supplies chickens and eggs which are all free range.

We can cater for most diets and if there is something in particular you like/dislike, we will do our best if you can let us know in advance.

You are welcome to bring your own wine/drink.

Breakfast

Breakfasts can be traditional English, or we can prepare kippers or kedgeree as well as fresh orange juice, home-made bread and, of course, porridge.
