About our food
We use all local produce as far as possible. We have excellent local lamb and rare breed pigs which ensure the sausages and home cured bacon are an especial flavour. We have Tweed salmon and game which is all found within a short distance of Hethpool at the appropriate time of year.
Our vegetable garden is very productive and we have a good supply of home grown fruit all of which is produced organically. Our next door neighbour supplies chickens and eggs which are all free range.
We can cater for most tastes and if there is something in particular you like we will do our best if you can let us know in advance.
Breakfast
Breakfasts can be traditional English and we can do kippers or kedgeree as well as fresh orange juice, home made bread and our speciality 'Rodgrod' and of course porridge.
